Briefly: MS-DOS Kermit controls modems via dialing scripts, one per modem.
K95 (and C-Kermit) control modems via built-in knowledge of each modem.
K95 does support the Supra modem type. Did you try it? --
set modem type supra
set port com1
set speed 57600
dial xxxxx
If it doesn't work, use "set dial display on" to find out which of the
built-in Supra commands is upsetting your Diamond/Supra. Then use the
"set modem command" command to adjust Kermit to your modem.
See the section "Modifying Modem Commands" (pp.87-89) and "Adding a New
Modem Type" (pp.90-92) in "Using C-Kermit", 2nd edition. (If you don't
have the second edition, look in your DOCS\MODEMS.DOC file.)
